Elm Furniture and modern decor
As cool as elm furniture sounds, west elm furniture has an amazing website with some amazing furniture that is way more than simply elm furniture. While I’m sure some (though certainly not all) of west elm furniture is actually elm furniture, it is all very modern, very clean and simple, and in my humble opinion extremely attractive furniture. It’s rather reasonably priced as well, for new furniture, though it is certainly out of my price range. But there is a lot of really great stuff to appreciate from West Elm furniture and I think that much of their furniture accurately captures a generation or era of art and design really.
West Elm Furniture selection
West Elm Furniture selection is an interesting study in and of itself. While they have a wide range of categories on their webpage at westelm.com, many if not most of these categories have one one to three pages, and even then there is some overlap between categories. However, it is arguable that for a fashion design elm furniture company these are plenty of options, especially if they update their west elm furniture collection yearly as many other fashion and design companies do. While many of those other companies may be clothing companies, it is true that many, if not all furniture companies do the same thing now.
West Elm Furniture design concepts
The West Elm furniture design concept I feel sums up almost an era of style, an era that is perhaps not yet over, but is nonetheless already a part of western style history. I am speaking, of course, of the modern designs. I personally feel a strong attraction to the modern designs and styles of furniture and home architecture especially, although even with my clothes I find I am attracted to the modern styles often. With west elm furniture, tailored clothes, and an uncluttered kitchen, there is one shared element of design that I am almost universally attracted to; the clean, unbroken lines. I think it is quite possibly one of the most beautiful things.
West Elm Furniture and a design dream
I have a dream, a dream of a home with furniture like that of west elm furniture. A dream of a kitchen, a dining room, a living room, perhaps even a bedroom with furniture like that of west elm furniture (but I still want a Japanese style futon not a western style futon). Will that dream be achieved with the furniture of west elm furniture? Not likely. Unfortunately even at their moderate prices for the middle class of America I just can’t afford them. But hopefully with the aid of some thrift stores, yard sales, and perhaps a couple of websites with similar functions I will be able to have my dream decorated home. But at a more affordable price.
